Cemetery
Sandy Felton has now taken-over as Cemetery Custodian, and she is being assisted by Rachel Dutfield, as Deputy Custodian. Sandy is progressing well with the computerisation of our cemetery records. In addition, she has expressed concern about the accumulation of rubbish within the site. She is organising a working party, and a skip will be ordered, in the hope of making the area as attractive as possible.
Landscape Trust
It has now been agreed that The Landscape Trust will have its Headquarters at The Cemetery Chapel, fora period ofat least five years.
Council Tax
The Parish Precept, for 2008-2009, has been set at £31,157. This has been kept low because several Parish Council responsibilities are undertaken by volunteers. We are extremely grateful for these free contributions from public-spirited members of our community.
