Elections
Ian Stewart and Pru Jupe have both been re-elected to the District Council.

Affordable Housing
It looks as though our next batch of Affordable Houses will be built in Hollins Lane.

Multi-wheeled Park
The Parish Council has recently learned that the costs of maintenance and insurance would require an unacceptably massive increase in the Precept.  Fortunately, Pru Jupe has negotiated a deal whereby SLDC will rent the  area of ground (one peppercorn), and pay for the maintenance and provide insurance cover.

20mph Speed Limit
The majority of the people who attended the Public Meeting seemed to be in favour of a 20mph speed limit throughout Arnside.  However, a subsequent referendum showed that the majority of residents are opposed to the idea.

Closure of Post Offices
So far, our Post Office has escaped closure, but what shock does the future hold?
