Chairman - Councillor D M (David) Willacy, J (Janet) Bolton, R P (Rachel) Dutfield, R B (Bill) Edwards, T(Terry) Keefe, Acting Clerk - J M (Jayne) Beaumont and 1 member of the public.Verbal apologies were received from Cllrs P E (Ted) Casey (prior commitment) and R G (Glyn) Jones (holiday).10590 Financial Status of the Playground Working Group:Cllr Dutfield explained the situation regarding the Playground Working Group, being that: (1) an application to Community Spaces for a grant of £20,000 is imminent which will complete the project of providing a community space, a decision being made in August, (2) a plan of the playing area will be placed on site for public information, (3) it is estimated that it will cost approximately £3,600 to complete Phase 1, being the natural stone wall, (4) the AONB are to create a sensory garden together with children from Arnside National School, (5) it was requested that money in the APC account, being £972, be transferred to APPT and this was RESOLVED, (6) it was proposed that APC agrees to cover any outstanding invoices and match funding up to a maximum of £6,000 and this was unanimously RESOLVED.
