:There were no matters raised by members of the public.9085 Police Report:Sgt Jonathan Sizer attended the meeting and reported on the following:- (1) apologies were given for no police representation at recent APC meetings which is due to shortage of officers - PC Alan Salter has now retired from the police force due to ill health and is yet to be replaced; PCSO Margaret Cahill has now become a full police officer and is yet to be replaced at Milnthorpe, (2) organised crime and terrorism is a government priority and resources have been lost to background work with officers still to be replaced, (3) report of persons looking through bins for scrap metal, found to be legitimate - the public are urged to contact the police if anybody is seen taking lead from church roofs, (4) arrest for drugs at the Fighting Cocks, (5) heater stolen from a house porch, (6) damage to a fence in Silverdale Road. The Chairman thanked Milnthorpe police for attending to the chaos on Station Road over the weekend which was caused due to the inopperation of the temporary traffic lights.

Cllr Dutfield had attended a Fair Trade meeting and reported that: (1) the village market event had gone well, (2) the Brownies Fashion Show is 10th June.
