Agenda for Next Meeting
Councillors are hereby summoned, and members of the public are invited, to attend an Ordinary Council Meeting on Tuesday 14th April 2009 at 7.15pm in the Cemetery Chapel, Silverdale Road, Arnside, for the purposes detailed in the following Agenda:
1. To receive and approve apologies for absence.
2. To note that Cllr Sue Hewitt resigned from her role as Councillor at the meeting held on Monday 9th February 2009.
3. To receive declarations of Members’ interests relating to any items appearing on the agenda.
4. To confirm the Minutes of the meeting held on Monday 9th March 2009.
5. To receive information about matters arising from the Minutes of previous meetings, not covered elsewhere in the agenda.
6. To hear matters raised by Members of the Public for future consideration.

7. To receive a report from a Police representative

12. To note any action (other than consideration of Planning Applications) taken under the provisions of Standing Order 25.
13. To note that the Annual Parish Assembly will take place on Thursday 30th April 2009 at 7.30pm at the WI Hall, Orchard Road.
14. To consider the possibility of re-siting the library on the playing field.
15. To receive an update on the progress of the repair to the damaged light on Orchard Road.

(2) To authorise payment and sign cheques for the following accounts:

19. Future position of the Clerk to the Council.
20. To note that the Annual Meeting will be held on Monday 11th May 2009, at 7.15pm. Items for the agenda to reach the Clerk before Friday 1st May and reports to reach the Clerk before Monday 4th May 2009.
